Kingdom Hearts is now teased for a second Epic game the same week. On September 15, the official Rocket League account on X posted a short teaser showing the Kingdom Key opening a gate - the classic keyhole seal animation - with the post and video indicating 9.17.26 (September 17, 2026), the same date Epic already locked for the Fortnite Outfits.

KH13 flagged the post on September 15 (2026-09-15T20:23:40Z), describing the clip as a gate opening via the Kingdom Key and noting the September 17 date matches the Fortnite Item Shop drop the outlet had covered earlier that day. The article says it will update as details surface, with no cosmetics list or pricing yet.

Prior unverified reports from dataminers (not confirmed by Epic, Psyonix, or the KH13 article) had claimed a Gummi Ship vehicle and related anthem files appeared in backend builds over the summer, with expectations of a car usable interchangeably between Fortnite and Rocket League. Those finds were leaks at the time. The Rocket League post is the first time the studio itself has acknowledged a Kingdom Hearts crossover.

For players, the practical read is simple. September 17 is now a two-game window - Fortnite gets four Outfits (Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas) plus two Festival Jam Tracks (Dearly Beloved, The Other Promise), and Rocket League gets its own Kingdom Hearts content starting the same day.
