Square Enix reveals FORM-ISM Axel figure for December 26

Square Enix has opened pre-orders for a new FORM-ISM figure of Axel as he appears in Kingdom Hearts II. The Organization XIII member is caught mid-leap, coat flaring, ready to summon his twin chakrams. The sculpt stands about 190mm tall, roughly 7.4 inches, and measures about 80 by 140 by 190mm.

Release is set for December 26, 2026. Two storefronts list two prices. Hobby Genki and AitaKuji show 9,500 yen, around 59 dollars at current rates, while the Japanese Square Enix Store lists it at 11,000 yen, around 69 dollars. Hobby Genki notes the coat is sculpted to convey motion while the figure holds its leap, a small detail that sells the dynamism at this scale.

For collectors, it is the first new Kingdom Hearts figure since the 25th-anniversary exhibition push, landing squarely in the holiday window. And in story terms it keeps a familiar face in view while the studio spotlights new names like Vali and Sigurd from the chi saga ahead of KH4.
