Kingdom Hearts Cup offers free Sora Outfit in Fortnite

Sora has a second acquisition path that costs no V-Bucks. On September 16 the official Fortnite Competitive account announced a solo KINGDOM HEARTS Cup for Friday, September 18: "Compete Solo in the KINGDOM HEARTS Cup this Friday and get the Sora Outfit if you place at the top of your region." Epic also lists the event on its official competitive schedule as the Override Series: KINGDOM HEARTS Cup. This is new next to the Item Shop route, where Sora sells for 1,800 V-Bucks inside the 4,500 V-Bucks full bundle.

The format, per matching FRVR and The Click rundowns published September 17: three solo events on September 18, with Battle Royale and Zero Build sessions overlapping across three hours (players pick one) plus a shorter 75 minute mobile-only Battle Royale cup starting about an hour earlier. Only Sora is earnable in the Cup, not Riku, Kairi or Roxas. Reported Sora placement cutoffs for Battle Royale and Zero Build are Europe top 1,000, North America Central top 700, Brazil and North America West top 200, and Oceania, Asia and the Middle East top 100, with a smaller separate pool for mobile. Confirm exact session times and cutoffs on the in-game Compete tab before dropping in, since regional schedules differ.

The accessible prize is the Glowing Keyhole spray at eight or more points, which both outlets describe as in reach for most players across a full session. The Click also notes the standard competitive requirements: age 13 or older (or the minimum age where you live) with multi-factor authentication enabled, so check both before the session. Miss the cutoff and Sora stays in the Shop, so the Cup is a free early route, not the only route.
