Rocket League launches Kingdom Hearts event
The tease is now a live event. Psyonix published full details on September 17 and switched the collaboration on the same morning: the Kingdom Hearts limited time event in Rocket League runs from September 17 at 9 AM PT to October 6 at 9 AM PT, just under three weeks. This upgrades the September 15 teaser, which showed the Kingdom Key opening a gate but listed no items or prices.
Nine rewards come free through Challenges played over the course of the event: the Sora Octane Decal, Full Hearted Universal Decal, Lucky Emblem Wheels, Star Trails Boost, Star Trails Trail, Keyblade Topper, Keyblade Player Banner, Keyblade Avatar Border and the "Keyblade's Chosen" Player Title. Two Challenges keep paying out after that: one drops a Treasure Chest up to five times and the other awards 20,000 XP every time it is completed.
Your teammates are your power. The KINGDOM HEARTS LTE goes live on September 17th at 9AM PT (Rocket League on X)
The paid side centers on the Gummi Ship Bundle in the Shop. Per the official post it includes the Gummi Ship car with an Octane hitbox, Gummi Ship Wheels and three Gummi Ship Decals (Heartless, Magic, Classic). Sold separately alongside it: the Seal the Goal Goal Explosion, Heartless Wheels and the "Blast Away - Gummi Ship II" Player Anthem. Psyonix lists no bundle price in the announcement; shop trackers (Rocket League Wiki) list the Gummi Ship Bundle (Exotic body) at 2,000 Credits, so treat the price as reported until the in-game Shop confirms it.
Coverage lines up behind the official post. Final Weapon confirmed the September 17 start and the Gummi Ship car on September 16, quoting the same "Your teammates are your power" post, and Techtroduce verified the event live on September 17 with the same nine reward names, dates and Shop contents. An earlier summer datamine had already predicted a Gummi Ship car plus decals, wheels, boost and banner items, and the official list now settles which pieces are earned through Challenges and which are sold.
For players, September 17 is a two game window. Fortnite put four Outfits (Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas) plus two Festival Jam Tracks into its Shop the same day, while Rocket League runs its own Challenge track through October 6. Finish the free Challenges before the deadline, and check the Item Shop rotation for the Gummi Ship if the free track is not enough.
