Collection [I~III] adds Korean subtitles in early summer 2027
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] is out, and Korean players have a second date to mark. Square Enix launched the three-game bundle for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on October 8, 2026, and confirmed in the same announcement that Korean subtitles arrive in early summer 2027.
The subtitle update covers Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store and Xbox on PC. It brings Korean text to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, while Kingdom Hearts III already carries Korean subtitles, so its share of the update adds Simplified Chinese only. The patch lands on the Japanese version of each title, and Square Enix notes that save data from the English versions will not carry over, with narrow exceptions for Kingdom Hearts III on Steam and purchases on non-Japanese Epic accounts.
A physical package edition timed to the Korean support is also planned, with details to follow, as covered in the launch-date announcement. InvenGlobal and Game DongA report the same early-summer-2027 timing, which lands months after the October 8 launch.
